The Fresno Fire Tee

from $30.00

Roasted Fresno is the one that disappears fastest. Smoky, tangy, and useful on almost everything. This is the shirt for it.

Heavyweight garment-dyed cotton in soft Butter yellow, with the Fresno Fire mark printed across the back and the Three Peppers script on the left chest. Soft the day it shows up, better every wash after that.

The story

Fresno Fire is named for my oldest, my daughter. The one who shows up for everybody and never asks for the spotlight. That's the sauce, too, and it's why the bottle empties first.

The back of the shirt is the cutting board: peppers, onion, garlic. Not much to it, which is sort of the whole point.

We make these in small runs with Catbird Collective, a family-run print shop right here in Pennsylvania. Same reason we roast every pepper by hand: we would rather make a few good ones than a lot of fine ones.

The details

  • 100% ring-spun cotton

  • Garment-dyed, so it lands soft and lived-in instead of stiff and new

  • Relaxed unisex fit, topstitched rib collar, shoulder-to-shoulder twill tape

  • Tearaway label (no scratchy neck tag)

  • US-grown cotton · printed in small runs in Archbald, PA by Catbird Collective

  • Sizes S–XL

Fit & care

Cut relaxed and true to size. If you like a closer fit, size down one.

Machine wash cold inside out, tumble dry low. Garment-dyed colors give up a little dye on the first wash, so run it with like colors once and then forget about it.

Every garment-dyed shirt takes color a little differently. Slight shade variation from shirt to shirt is the character you're paying for, not a flaw.
